Sponsorship Needed

My name is Nik Goodfellow and I race karts. This letter is devoted to
helping you to understand the needs of a driver in his search for
sponsorship.

Over a year a karter will spend over £60,000 keeping his vehicle in
pristine condition and competing at the front of a grid of 40 top class
competitors over 6 rounds and an all important O-plate round where the
winner gets to wear the number 0 for the rest of the year if he or she
wins it. This budget includes accommodation and travelling expenses
as well as the European Championship. However this is not what I am
expecting from sponsors.

Currently I am entering the Super 1 British national championship of
Intercontinental A. This championship is known to be a stepping block to
European racing and Formula 1. Such drivers as Jenson Button, David
Coulthard, Johnny Herbet have competed in the Super 1 championship. The
European championship is also known to be a major stepping stone to
Formula 1 with such drivers as Michael Schumacher, Mika Hakinnen, Ruben
Barrichelo, Ralf Schumacher, Jarno Trulli, Giancarlo Fisichella, Jos
Verstappen and triple world champion Ayton Senna competing in it over
the last twenty years.

The Super 1 championship also currently gets extensive coverage on Sky
Sport 1, 2 and 3 during prime time viewing. The European Championship is
broadcast live in it's respective country and highlights are shown on
Eurosport throughout Europe within two weeks of racing.

I currently drive a Trulli Jarno 2. This kart is endorsed by Jarno
Trulli the Formula 1 driver named above.

I am not looking for a large amount of money for nothing in return. As
well as the TV viewing mentioned above race reports and trophies will be
supplied for you personal use whether display or in a newsletter.

I can be contacted at any time at
Please feel free to ask any question or request.

Thankyou for reading my letter and I hope to hear a response from you.

Yours Faithfully,

Nikolas Goodfellow
